‘Enough Rest’: Anthony Davis Reassures That he Plans on Playing All Upcoming Games
The Los Angeles Lakers finally put a full stop to their losses as they triumph over the Orlando Magic. This win was important for the franchise to get some motivation back and bring some hope back to the fans about their run in the season. From being on the top teams in the Western Conference to dropping to the fifth spot was a drastic shift for them. This was a result of Anthony Davis and LeBron James, both sidelined because of injuries.
Davis felt to a calf injury while Bron fell to an ankle injury. Missing about 30 games has had its consequences as Davis even ended up missing on the All-Star Game. However, the priority was always to ease AD’s return as much as possible. But now that he is back, he doesn’t plan on slowing down.
Anthony Davis won’t miss any games
LeBron James is yet to make his comeback but AD’s return is their one step forward. Although his return to the lineup hasn’t brought the result that everyone was hoping for. Davis’ first game back against the Dallas Mavericks, he was on a minutes restriction and only played 17 minutes.
But the game right after, his time was eased up and he played 25 minutes which helped him add 17 points to the scoreboard. This did not bring them the victory they so desperately needed but Davis has ensured that he has had had enough time off and now it’s time to fully get back.
After their win against Orlando Magic, Davis said, “I missed 30 games, so I think I had enough rest … I plan on playing both ends of (the coming) back to backs.”

Lakers vs Orlando Magic
In this bout too, Davis played 31 minutes and ended the night with 18 points as he hit his first three-pointers since he returns. However, the man of the match for them was Montrezl Harrell who bullied Mo Bamba. He had us believe that if he had played in the games before, the Lakers might have won.
The good news is that their losing streak has finally come to a halt. But escaping with a victory against below-average teams shouldn’t be held in very high regard. If the Lakers want to defend their title, they have to learn to fight it out against the elitist teams as well. Either that or they will just have to wait it out for Bron to show up and rescue them.
