The Maranello-based team had a good result in the opening round in Bahrain. As Charles Leclerc came home P6 and their new recruit Carlos Sainz crossed the line in P8.

The lackluster power unit, saw the Italian team suffer horribly last year. The team only scored 131 points and finished 6th in the championship. With the new rules coming in next year, Binotto hopes the improvements can help the team get back on top.
