The undisputed title fight got a massive boost when reports suggested that a record-breaking $150 million from Saudi Arabia. However, the reports also confirmed that Eddie Hearn and Matchroom still had to wait for a binding contract before anything was official.
Arum has now commented on that issue as well. “last time I talked to Eddie was early last week, and he said he was going to have a signed agreement from the Saudis in 24 hours. Well, he’s a little late. Wouldn’t you be pessimistic if you haven’t heard from him or anybody for a week?” asked Arum.
This comment showed that Fury’s camp was aware of the offer; however, they are yet to see anything substantial. Therefore, it is no surprise that Arum threatened to move on if there were any other delays.
