Netflix bosses have dropped new pictures of He’s All That – and it’s safe to say fans aren’t that impressed…

It was recently announced that a gender-switched remake of the iconic She’s All That is on the way, starring TikTok star Addison Rae and Tanner Buchanan.

New photos were shared of the cast on set, showing Addison as popular influencer Padgett Sawyer, as she works her magic on the school’s ‘biggest loser’ – aka Cameron Kweller – giving him a makeover.

Alongside the pictures, the Netflix Is A Joke Twitter and Instagram accounts said: ‘Accepting a challenge to turn the school’s biggest loser into prom king? That’s what friends are for.

‘Get to know Addison Rae, Tanner Buchanan, and the scorching cast of this summer’s HE’S ALL THAT, a re-imagined romcom from MEAN GIRLS director Mark Waters dropping August 27!’

Fans weren’t that thrilled about the revival of the 1999 classic – which starred Rachael Leigh Cook, Freddie Prinze Jr, Paul Walker and Matthew Lillard.

Flooding the official Instagram post, one screamed: ‘NO ONE WANTED THIS.’

‘No one needs to get to know anyone here. No one needs this movie,’ another insisted.

As one fumed: ‘You’re ruining a HIGHSCHOOL CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!’

An Instagram user asked: ‘Who asked for this reboot?!’

Netflix announced that He’s All That will be released on the platform later this year, premiering on August 27.

The original film is still a total classic, and followed popular jock Zack Siler (Freddie Prinze Jr) make a bet with best friend Dean Sampson (Paul Walker) that he can turn any girl into a prom queen in just a few days.

Laney Boggs (Rachael Leigh Cook) was the chosen girl, and naturally turned from an ‘ugly duckling’ to a swan throughout the course of the film.

The reboot will see OG star Rachael make a cameo as Padgett’s mum, but her character will not have any connections to her previous role.

Kourtney Kardashian is also set to make an appearance, joining BFF Addison on the big screen.

He’s All That will be released on Netflix on April 27.
