Pose season 3 is just days away from launching in the US, with fans gearing up to say goodbye to the acclaimed TV show.

It was confirmed last month that the upcoming new chapter would mark the end of the groundbreaking FX drama, which tells the stories of the drag ball culture of New York City’s LGBTQ+ and gender nonconforming Black and Latino community.

The first-look trailer soon followed and teased a wedding scene between Papi (Angel Bismark Curiel) and Angel (Indya Moore) and showed Pray Tell (Billy Porter) breaking down over the state of his health.

It looks set to be a tear-jerker, but when will it be released in the UK?

Over in the UK, the show is broadcast on the BBC.

As it currently stands, however, Pose has not been given a UK release date, and judging by previous launches, British fans have a long wait on their hands.

Pose series two arrived in the US in June 2019 however it wasn’t aired in the UK until October.

The final season is set to jump ahead to 1994, with Blanca now working as a nurse.

‘Ballroom feels like a distant memory for Blanca, who struggles to balance being a mother with being a present partner to her new love, and her latest role as a nurse’s aide,’ the synopsis teases.

‘Meanwhile, as Aids becomes the leading cause of death for Americans ages 25 to 44, Pray Tell contends with unexpected health burdens. Elsewhere, the emergence of a vicious new upstart house forces the House of Evangelista members to contend with their legacy.’
