“We Used to Be Kings”- WWE Legends The Undertaker and Triple H Share a Joke Over Retirement
The Undertaker was one of the biggest Superstars back in the day and mesmerized the audience with his athletic abilities and ageless gimmick. If there ever is a list of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time, Taker is right up there at the top.
‘The Deadman’ decided to walk away from the ring after 30 years in WWE, Wrestling at the highest level. He ended his illustrious career with a heartwarming speech at Survivor Series 2020, a moment that brought tears to the eyes of fans.
Now a retired man, Taker is doing things he never could due to his character and is now transitioning into Mark Calaway rather than his permanent role as The Undertaker.
In a recent video call, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon trolled ‘The Deadman’, telling him that he must be very busy with nothing to do, now that he is retired. The three of them laughed it off, and Taker joked that the two of them used to be kings back in the day.
The entire topic of the call was the search for The Undertaker’s famous purple robes, the colorway which he sported in his debut purple coat. This coat is extremely valuable and naturally very rare which is why WWE wants to find it as part of its search for lost treasures of their company.
WWE is determined to get back ring memorabilia
Over the past few weeks, the company has organized a nationwide search for memorabilia and mementos such as Ring gear, props, and the like that belonged to WWE legends. This is being done in order to create a collection to display at the company’s physical Hall of Fame, which is set to feature some of the rarest and most valuable possessions that symbolize the rich history of WWE.
WWE is going to try to find this coat on the next edition of WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures and plans to have a lot more Undertaker memorabilia in its possession. Apart from having his iconic WrestleMania coats and coffins, WWE still has a few boxes it needs to check.
The company sends its legends to the homes of collectors that hold some of the most valuable pieces and attempts to walk out of there with them, pitching a price to the collectors. Some pretty interesting items have been acquired so far such as the original Mr. Socko, and things are surely going to get a lot better as we move down the episodes.
