Former UFC Fighter Rachael Ostovich Joins Bare Knuckle FC
Bare Knuckle FC is adding one big name after another to its roster. The promotion in recent times has snapped up a few UFC fighters among other big names in the sport. While the promotion itself is relatively new and trying to establish itself, signing big names that they have recently is only going to help the company grow faster.
Recently, the promotion has signed the likes of Artem Lobov and Paige Vanzant from the UFC. According to recent reports, the latest name on that list is Rachael Ostovich. After being released from the UFC, Ostovich has been snapped up by BKFC to add depth to an already stacked women’s division.

Rachael Ostovich vs Paige VanZant 2 at BKFC?
Ostovich is a four-fight UFC veteran. Although results did not go her way in her last few fights, Ostovich put on some incredibly close fights during her time with the promotion.
She made her UFC debut in December 2017 on The Ultimate Fighter Season 26 finale. Ostovich was able to secure a first-round submission win over Karine Gevorgyan. However, since that fight, results have not gone her way.
In July 2018, Montana De La Rosa handed Ostovich her first loss in the UFC in round three via a rear-naked choke. This was followed by a loss to Paige VanZant in January 2019.
After an eight-month suspension after testing positive for a tainted supplement, Ostovich fought for the last time in the UFC in November 2020 when she was beaten by Gina Mazany. She was then released from the UFC following a three-fight skid.
Interestingly, BKFC signed Paige VanZant in 2020 and she made her BKFC debut in February this year against Britain Hart. She lost the fight via unanimous decision. It is stated that Ostovich will make her debut in July this year but a venue and opponent are not known at this point. A rematch between ‘12 Gauge’ and Ostovich seems like a fight that could be made and would really interest the fans given that they have fought previously with ‘12 Gauge’ securing the win.
What do you make of Ostovich’s move to BKFC? Who do you think she should fight in her debut with the promotion?
