While everyone is talking about QB Mac Jones, WR DeVonta Smith, RB Najee Harris and CB Patrick Surtain II, one player who has gone under the radar is WR Jaylen Waddle.
The talented wideout is also an important component of Alabama’s special team. He made a name for himself with the Crimson Tide since making his debut in 2018. Waddle was named the SEC Freshman of the Year after recording 45 receptions for 848 yards and 7 receiving TDs.
Despite the presence of wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Ja’Marr Chase, Waddle is regarded as the fastest wide receiver in the Class of 2021. The Texas-born athlete has kept a low-key profile away from the football field.
There have been rumors in the past about Waddle and potential love interests. But college football fans still don’t know if there is a ‘mystery lady’ in the life of their young superstar.

22-year old Jaylen Waddle rose to fame as a high school star. He played for Episcopal High School in Bellaire, Texas. But as far as his personal life is concerned, the young man has done a good job to keep everything under the covers.
Since committing to the University of Alabama in 2018, Waddle has been an ever-present figure for the Crimson Tide football team. He flourished under the tutelage of college football legend, Nick Saban. He has a proven work ethic, and his passion for the game is second to none.
As seen above, Waddle’s social media handles are filled with pictures of his Alabama teammates. He comes across as a determined and motivated individual who won’t let anything distract him from making it big in the NFL. So when it comes to the ladies, Waddle likes to keep it ‘on the down low’.
Jaylen’s family played a huge role in his development, right from his high school days. He mentioned in the past that his mom is his biggest critic. She constantly pushes him to improve, on the football field and off it as well.
