Randy Orton Matches Chris Jericho in New Career Milestone on WWE Raw

Randy Orton competed yet again on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw and is finally getting normal matches after the nightmare of a storyline with The Fiend and Alexa Bliss that went on for the latter half of last year until WrestleMania 37.

‘The Viper’ set aside his differences and teamed up with Riddle to face off against former Hurt business members Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. Randy ended up playing a crucial role in the match by delivering a stellar RKO in mid-air to Alexander, who was put out of the equation.

Randy and Riddle did secure the victory, but the former achieved a rare career milestone on the night that has surprisingly gone under the radar. The 14-time World Champion has now tied Chris Jericho for the second most appearances on WWE Raw, notching his 420th match on the red brand.

‘The Viper’ has been wrestling for over 20 years in WWE

Randy Orton has been wrestling in WWE for over 21 years, debuting in the company in 2000. He is one of the company’s most experienced Superstar and is ahead of his years, learning the art of wrestling from three generations of WWE.

He is a pure in-bred WWE talent and has spent his adult career Wrestling for the company at the highest level. Many may forget just how good Orton is, given the fact that he is a blend of the Attitude, Ruthless Aggression, and PG Eras in WWE history.

You can see how free-flowing and flawless he is in the ring, be it delivering a wordy promo or executing an RKO in mid-air. When it comes to staying at the top for two decades, Orton clearly takes the prize as the best wrestler in recent times.

Randy Orton is behind only one WWE legend on Raw

Randy may have 420 matches now and is tied with Jericho in that regard, but you may be shocked by who holds the #1 position. It isn’t John Cena, nor is it Triple H or Shawn Michaels.

‘The Big Red Machine’ Kane holds the record for most matches on WWE Raw, standing at a staggering 436 during his long career in the business. Randy Orton could overshadow that record this year without a question and move to the top of this impressive list.

They don’t call him ‘The Legend Killer’ for nothing, and we can expect Orton to add this achievement to his long list of accolades collected throughout an illustrious career,
