‘Something I’ve Never Seen Before’- Shaquille O’Neal Calls Steph Curry His Favorite NBA Player

Steph Curry has firmly established himself as the greatest shooter in NBA history. While he still has Ray Allen to catch on the all-time list, Curry’s achievements as a shooter are undisputable. If not the numbers, the eye-test is more than enough to sell anyone on the fantastic ability that Curry has.

Shaquille O’Neal agrees that Steph is the greatest shooter in NBA history ‘by leaps and bounds’. He also revealed that Curry is his favorite player to watch because he does things Shaq has never seen done before.

“Steph is my favorite player because this is something I’ve never seen before. When he first came in, I hated him. I’m the guy that sits on the couch when he goes to the corner and throws it ‘no way that’s going in’. And it goes in. I wish I could shoot like that because it looks pretty. I’m glad he’s playing in this era because if he played in our era, I would have had to touch him up and it would’ve hurt my heart touching him up. I love watching him play, he’s must-see TV… The title of the best shooter ever to play? Don’t ask. It’s him. By far. By leaps and bounds.”

Steph Curry may be one of the best shows in basketball right now, but it may be coming to an end soon. The NBA regular season has less than a month left, with the Warriors having just 10 games left with a 31-31 record.

Curry’s Golden State Warriors are currently sitting at 10th in the Western Conference and look like an almost lock for the play-in game. This means they will have to win back-to-back games to snag a playoff berth. In a two-game situation, a team with someone like Curry can never be counted out.

The Warriors have had a tough season and would probably lose to the Utah Jazz or Phoenix Suns in the first round, anyway. This season may be a disappointment, but at least getting to the Playoffs can be a consolation for this injury-ravaged Warriors team.
