WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler Reveals the Worst Gimmick of His Career

Dolph Ziggler is a Superstar who really put thought into what fans want. Therefore, when he didn’t know what else to work with in order to make him popular among fans, he created a series of parodies of other wrestlers’ entrances. This was his new gimmick.

He started this as a way of entertaining fans since he already had in-ring skills and needed something new to add to his character. During this time, he replicated several entrances such as that of the Ultimate Warrior, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and many others.

These flashy entrances got him noticed, and fans started talking about him. Even to this day, once in a while, a fan reminisces about the time Ziggler was imitating others. Unfortunately, Dolph Ziggler feels otherwise.

His point of view is that the gimmick he was executing at that point isn’t something he puts on a pedestal. Dolph Ziggler claims it was one of the “worst times” of his career.

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode dominate the SmackDown tag team title

Currently, Dolph Ziggler is the WWE SmackDown Tag Team champion with Robert Roode. The duo secured the title from former champions The Street Profits on an episode of SmackDown.

There was supposed to be a rematch, but it didn’t mature.

Finally, The Street Profits had the chance to fight Ziggler and Roode for the tag team titles at WrestleMania 37. However, two other tag teams were involved in the mix.

Ziggler and Roode put the WWE SmackDown Tag Team titles in line against The Street Profits, Otis & Gable, and Rey & Dominik Mysterio. While all the teams had an equal chance of securing the title, Ziggler and Roode retained it.

However, initially Ziggler and Roode were not on the WrestleMania 37 match card. He thought he would miss the event, even though he was a champion at WWE.

The Showoff got rejected on social media

Apart from being a champion on SmackDown, once in a while Ziggler brings forth a past storyline. Recently, he continued his old storyline involving a relationship between Mandy Rose and Otis, and The Showoff trying to create problems.

He asked Rose if she’d be willing to watch a movie with him, and Rose promptly responded with a rejection.

Even though they are working with different brands, some storylines are hard to forget!
