BREWERIES are having to work through the night to stop reopened pubs running out of beer.
Punters are downing twice as much as before the pandemic.
Drinkers are sinking pints at record pace leaving pubs trying to keep up with demands[/caption]
And rationing has been introduced as landlords risk running out.
Heineken limited each pub to only 264 pints per week of lagers Amstel and Birra Moretti.
And 630 million more pints are being brewed in the UK by Budweiser.
Both suppliers said their breweries were operating “around the clock”.
