Rebel Wilson has been spotted cycling around Liverpool just weeks after she injured herself after a dog ran in front of her bike.

The Pitch Perfect star, 41, got back on her bike despite the unfortunate incident in March when she was left with a hurt leg.

Sharing the news on her Instagram story at the time, Rebel wrote: ‘F**k people who don’t have their dogs on the lead and let them run onto the road.’

She accompanied the post with a shot of her left leg with multiple ice packs on it to help the pain and swelling.

However, the ordeal didn’t seem to put Rebel off her stride as she was once again seen on a small yellow folding bike.

Rebel put safety first as she wore a mint green helmet for her night-time ride around the promenade next to the River Mersey with the Liverpool skyline in the background.

The actress stopped to talk to some fans between whizzing around, with her hair seen blowing in the wind.

Rebel, who is in the UK to film The Almond and the Seahorse according to Deadline, spent 2020 overhauling her health and fitness and lost 70lb (30kg or 4.5 stone).

The film will follow the journeys of an architect and an archaeologist as they attempt to save their relationships following brain injuries, though it has not yet been revealed what Rebel’s role will be.

Director Tom Stern told Deadline: ‘The Almond and the Seahorse will be a journey into the lives of two couples whose lives become irreversibly altered through simple twists of fate.

‘We will join them in their search for new relevance in this new reality, a search that is both tragic and comedic as their worlds turn upside down.

‘The film will be directed jointly; bridging image, drama and performance into a poignant tale of humans striving for meaning and love.’
