Smash-hit game Among Us is finally coming to PS5 and PS4
VIRAL video game Among US is finally coming to PlayStation later this year.
Sony has confirmed that the super-sleuthing sci-fi multiplayer hit will land on both PS4 and PS5.
Among Us is an online sensation[/caption]
Among Us is described as a social deduction game.
It’s played online with pals – or strangers – and is currently available on iOS, Android, Windows PC and Nintendo Switch.
The game takes place on a spaceship, where players are told to complete various tasks.
But at least one player is chosen as an Impostor.
The Impostor has to quietly kill all of the workers before the other players finish their tasks.
Players get to vote on who they suspect the Impostor is at various intervals, including during emergency meetings or if a dead body is found.
But a skilled Impostor will survive until just one Crewmate remains, therefore winning the game.
The game launched back in 2018, and wasn’t an immediate hit.
But in 2020, it exploded in popularity as Twitch and YouTube stars began streaming it.
It’s now one of the world’s most popular multiplayer games, and is notable for supporting cross-platform gameplay.
We’re expecting Xbox and PlayStation launches later this year.
There’s no confirmed release date yet.
