“Don’t Think I’ll Get Back to 100% In My Career”: Lebron James Makes a Shocking Revelation on His NBA Return, Anthony Davis Disagrees

LeBron James made his much-awaited NBA return against Sacramento Kings tonight. However, the Lakers lost for the second time in a row even with his presence on the court. Though the game does not hold much significance in comparison to the astonishing claim, he made in the aftermath.

“Getting back to 100 percent is impossible. I don’t think I’ll get back to 100 percent in my career,” LeBron shocked reporters in the post-game presser.

The 20-game gap between his injury and return is the longest injury period of his illustrious career. For he’s never been ruled for 40 days like he was before lacing up his boots again tonight. But this terrible to hear LeBron say this as he also felt “tightness” in his ankle all throughout the game.

“It was horrible, honestly, for me. I was more stressful than I’ve ever been,” LeBron elaborated more on his return which ended in a 106-110 defeat for Los Angeles Lakers.

He finished the game with 16 points, 7 assists, and 8 rebounds. He shot 50% from the floor, but a poor 20% from the three-point line. After the game, he also voiced his displeasure regarding the general scheduling this season by the league, which has caused a plethora of soft tissue injuries –

“It’s been a hell of a season. Everything feels so rushed. There’s a game every other day or a game back-to-back. You can have as many as four or five games in a week. It’s been a long, super quick season. How much can we make out of these 9 games? I’m not sure.”

Anthony Davis admits LeBron James ‘wasn’t himself’

Anthony Davis himself made his NBA return against Dallas Mavericks barely a week ago. He is yet to be on top of his game, yet. With regards to his partner-in-crime, LeBron James, he admitted that he is far away from being 100%, as of now –

“He looked good. Obviously, he wasn’t himself. I’m sure he told you guys that.”

These are desperate times for the Lakers. Their chances of defending their NBA crown look bleaker by the day.
