Houston Texans Draft Davis Mills as their First Quarterback in the 2021 NFL Draft

The 2020 NFL season did not end on a positive note for Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans. The AFC South old boys parted ways with former GM/HC Bill O’Brien midway through the 2020 NFL season after starting the campaign with four back-to-back losses. Interim HC Romeo Crennel steadied the ship (somewhat) later on.

However, the Texans still finished third in their division with a 4-12 record. They’ve also parted ways with star defensive end JJ Watt in the offseason. Not to mention, the situation involving wantaway quarterback Deshaun Watson.

But new head coach David Culley has managed to find a potential backup to Watson in the ongoing 2021 NFL Draft in the form of a young quarterback.
