Genshin Impact 1.5 Update: Guide to Clear New Spiral Abyss Floor 11 and 12

Genshin Impact is all about building characters and facing some hard challenges. Users have to build a team of four characters on their journey. There are a lot of in-game challenges for them like domains, quests, exploring the world, and much more. In addition to that, players can challenge themselves in Spiral Abyss, which has the highest level of enemies than any other in-game domain.

Spiral Abyss is a special type of domain that unlocks at Adventure Rank 20 in Musk Reef. Moreover, clearing each floor of Spiral Abyss offers amazing rewards, including primogems. The 1.5 update for Genshin Impact is finally out and has brought a lot of content for the users, including some changes in Spiral Abyss.

Changes in Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact

miHoYo has brought some changes to Spiral Abyss floor 11 and 12 with the 1.5 update. Previously, Spiral Abyss floor 11 chamber 2 was more focused on crowd control, meaning you have to use at least one of Sucrose, Anemo Traveler, or Venti in your team. However, this time it’s not necessary to have these characters on your team as it is more focused on physical damage dealers.

Furthermore, the 1.5 update has introduced two new enemies in the Spiral Abyss, which are Abyss Herald and Abyss Lector. You will encounter Abyss Herald in floor 11 chamber 3 second half and Abyss Lector in floor 12 chamber 3 first half.

Several players are primarily facing difficulties in defeating these two enemies in the Spiral Abyss. Here are some best team compositions that you can use to clear the new Spiral Abyss.

Clear Spiral Abyss Floor 11

Spiral Abyss floor 11 is quite challenging but not impossible to clear. You just have to use eight characters and use their potential to the full extent. Build a team with great support characters and main damage dealers.

First Half: For the first half, the best support characters would be Venti, Sucrose, Diona, and Zhongli. There are a lot of small enemies, and Venti’s or Sucrose’s elemental burst will trap them inside. Furthermore, Zhongli and Diona will provide a shield and will save you from enemies’ attack. The main damage dealers that you should go for are Diluc, Childe, and Razor.

Second Half: Best support characters for the second half are Zhongli, Chongyun, Albedo. For the main damage dealers, you should go for Xiao, Ganyu, or Hu Tao.

Spiral Abyss Floor 12 in Genshin Impact

First Half: Best supports are Zhongli, Chongyun, Diona, and Rosaria. For main damage dealers use Xiao, Ganyu, or Hu Tao.

Second Half: Venti, Sucrose, Anemo Traveler, Xiangling, Diona, and Bennet are the best support characters to go for. The main damage dealers that should be considered are Xiao, Hu Tao, Diluc, and Klee.

If any of your favorite characters have not made up to this list it doesn’t mean they are bad, it just means they can’t make the most out of their potential on these floors.
