Warriors’ Stephen Curry and Draymond Green Pay Tribute to Kobe Bryant’s Daughter Gigi on Her Birthday
Even a year on, the world is mourning the loss of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi. The passing of time hasn’t made their absence any easier for fans. Bryant was one of the most beloved players in the history of the NBA. But NBA players will not let their memory fade away. In fact, they do everything in their power to celebrate them. The latest to do so are Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.
Stephen Curry and Draymond Green show love to Kobe and Gigi
Golden State Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Draymond Green arrived at their game tonight wearing the ‘Mambacita’ clothing line.
The clothing line was launched to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant‘s daughter Gianna. It plays of Kobe’s ‘Black Mamba’ nickname, hinting that Gigi during her youth basketball career was a younger version of her father. It was a heartwarming tribute from the Warriors duo.

Curry and Draymond have both pontificated about their relationship with Kobe Bryant. Curry entered the NBA in 2009, when Bryant was the best player in the league and finals MVP for the reigning NBA champion Lakers.
Over the years, Curry and Kobe faced off in the Western Conference as the Warriors ended up surpassing the Lakers as the dominant team in the Western Conference.
Kobe helped Curry and Draymond
Draymond Green has spoken previously about Kobe Bryant helping him. During the 2016 NBA Finals, Draymond Green was ejected from a game five and suspended at game six.
Green reached out to Bryant for advice, as he was very upset about what had happened. Kobe, who had played in seven NBA Finals and won five NBA championships, told Green to not worry, and work on bettering his legacy.

During his career, Bryant served as an inspiration to several players. Bryant played in the NBA for 20 years and played against several excellent players across generations.
Bryant became an icon in the league, and served as the face of the NBA for several years. Players today work towards improving their game, and they try their best to emulate Bryant’s level of play and work ethic.
As time goes on, more and more players will pay tribute to Kobe Bryant. His impact is felt in the league to this day. And several players in the NBA want to do their best to honor Kobe by playing some of the best basketball they can.
