Rita Ora and Taika Waititi: Everything we know about their rumoured romance so far
Rita Ora and Taika Waititi are the latest stars to get tongues wagging with their rumoured relationship as the pair have been hanging out together Down Under.
Rumours began after Rita shared a photo of her and Taika cuddling in matching outfits on April 21, captioning the post: ‘Good times, memories, random things on my phone and the ones I love.. #midweekupdate.’
It comes after Rita, 30, split from boyfriend Romain Gavras in February after six months together and she has been spending time in Australia for work including The Voice Australia.
Further fuel was added to the fire as someone claimed on the Who? Weekly podcast that they had seen Rita and Taika, 45, kissing at a restaurant.
Taika is also claimed to have ‘quietly’ separated from his wife, Chelsea Winstanley, according to reports from Page Six in March 2020.
Rita and the Thor director have since been spotted out on numerous occasions while in Australia, including a night out with Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina.
The singer was also photographed at dinner with Sacha Baron Cohen, Isla Fisher, Russell Crowe and Christian Bale.
A source claimed to The Sun that Rita and Taika have been seeing each other for around a month: ‘They’ve been a couple since early March but kept things low key.
‘However, all their friends know about the relationship – they’re really into each other.’
Neither Rita nor Taika have publicly commented on the nature of their relationship, but the pair were most recently spotted at the world premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under in Sydney over the weekend.
The pair were suited and booted for the night, with Taika wearing a blue suit while Rita went for a white top and trousers accented with a leopard print coat.
