iPhone 13 video ‘reveals’ Apple’s new phone design four MONTHS before launch

A DUMMY model of the rumoured iPhone 13 Pro Max has appeared in a YouTube video and it looks very realistic.

YouTube channel Unbox Therapy got their hands on the unit, which it claims gives a good indicator of what we can expect Apple to launch in 2021.

Usually, we have to wait until September time to see Apple’s new iPhone offerings.

However, it seems Unbox Therapy wanted to do its own reveal four months early.

The non-functioning device in the video isn’t officially from Apple but is based on rumours about the design of the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Often smartphone makers give design information to manufacturers a few months ahead of the launch so leaks and rumours about measurements can turn out to be accurate.

The model design appears to confirm rumours about a larger camera design on the iPhone 13[/caption]

The iPhone 13 Pro Max model in the video looks very convincing and very similar to the official iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Previous leaks have suggested that the phones will be similar and some experts even think Apple’s next handset could just be called the iPhone 12s.

There are a few noticeable differences between the mock-up phone and the 12 Pro Max.

The top notch and front cameras on the mock-up phone and the iPhone 12 Pro Max were also compared[/caption]

The notch at the top of the model phone’s front screen is 8.31mm smaller.

That’s something Apple has been rumoured to be working on for a while.

The speaker has also been moved to the top edge of the phone and the selfie camera has been moved underneath it.

You’ll also notice the camera section at the back is larger.

This could be because the iPhone 13 is expected to come with an ultra-wide-angle camera and larger 2um-sized pixels.

Fans hope the next iPhone will be even better at taking pictures in low light and these improvements could result in that.

As with all rumours and mock-ups, we’ll need to wait for official word from Apple before we’ll know how accurate the model is.

Experts are currently predicting the next iPhone will launch in September 2021.
