Holly Willoughby gears up to meet ‘man-hating demonic’ Chihuahua that ‘held family hostage for six years’
Holly Willoughby is gearing up to meet a ‘demonic man-hating’ Chihuahua on today’s This Morning after the troubled pooch finally found a ‘forever home’.
The 40-year-old will be confronted Prancer who has been compared to a ‘haunted Victoria child’ living in the body of a small dog.
Ahead of This Morning, Holly shared a first look at the script for today’s episode and it sounds like we’re in for quite the ride.
‘I mean… I can’t wait to meet Prancer,’ she wrote, alongside an image of the script which read: ‘He’s the man-hating, demonic Chihuahua, who put his owners through a living nightmare. But somehow he’s managed to find a forever home. We’ll be meeting 2-year-old Prancer in around 10 minutes.’
As mentioned in Holly’s script, Prancer did find a home in Ariel Davis, who saw a Facebook post seeking a new owner for the pup that hates animals, children and gets compared to a ‘gremlin’.
After being forced by circumstance to give up her previous Jack Russell Doodle, Ariel knew Prancer was the dog for her.
‘Reading about Prancer brought back intense memories of the dog I still love so much,’ Ariel wrote on her email application to Prancer’s sponsor, The Second Chance Adoption League.
‘They were very similar in demeanor… I am not looking to replace Doodle, but I am looking for a companion that I can take proper care of and give a loving home.’
Holly recently returned to This Morning after taking a mystery break, later confirming she’s penned a book, titled Reflections.
In a series of tweets, she confirmed the news, posting: ‘This is a message I’ve been looking forward to sending… I’ve been working on a very special project – a book! Writing is such a personal process and between these pages you will find many little pieces of me.
‘The book is called Reflections and is essentially thoughts and musings from me on inner and outer beauty.
‘We live in a world where so much is about how we present ourselves on the outside and there is fun to be had here but true beauty comes from within.
‘There is an alignment that needs to happen and finding that balance hasn’t always felt so easy.
‘Now, I’m finally at a point in my life where I can see a little more clearly and I want to share my truths in the hope that maybe they’ll help you too.’
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
