How to watch Shrill season 3 in the UK

The third and final season of Shrill is on the horizon, with fans gearing up to say goodbye to Aidy Bryant’s beloved series forever.

The Hulu comedy first arrived on the scene in 2019 and the upcoming chapter is set to pick up following Annie’s (played by Aidy Bryant) break-up from Ryan (Luka Jones).

‘A newly single Annie jumps back into the dating world with mixed results, and has a traumatic encounter at the doctor,’ the synopsis for episode one teases.

‘Fran and Emily take their relationship to the next level. The Thorn faces serious cutbacks.’

How to watch Shrill season 3 in the UK

Shrill season 3 begins on Friday, May 7 on Hulu in the United States.

British fans, however, will have a little while longer to wait before the series arrives here.

The show will be made available to stream on BBC iPlayer, however an air date has yet to be confirmed.

Aidy announced earlier this year that Shrill would be coming to an end.

‘Shrill has been one of the most creatively satisfying experiences of my life, a true labour of love for me and everyone who worked so hard on it,’ she said in a statement to Hollywood Reporter.

 ‘We are incredibly proud of this upcoming third and final season and are so grateful to the audience who connected with this story.

‘I am deeply honoured to have worked so closely with the writers, cast, and crew to make Shrill while continuing my work at SNL, it is a time I will never forget. I have endless love for our crew in Portland, and I am excited to get back to New York and rejoin my other work-family at SNL in the meantime.’
