John Krasinski has blessed us with the final trailer for A Quiet Place 2, and we’re already terrified.

The flick, a sequel to the 2018 film starring Emily Blunt, was set to be released last March, but was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It will now land in cinemas on June 3, earlier than the original date of September 2021, meaning we don’t have too much longer to wait.

The trailer takes us back to before the events of the first film, kicking off with John’s character, Lee Abbott, making his way around a supermarket where he sees utter chaos unfold on TV.

We’re then transported to the eerily quiet ‘present’ as Evelyn (Emily), takes their children to a creepy colony, attempting to find other survivors.

Once there, they encounter Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy as Emmett, who informs them: ‘I don’t know why you came all the way up here.

‘There’s nothing left’.

Despite her best attempts to not make a sound, Evelyn comes face-to-face with the monsters she has been trying to flee, with the clip ending as she desperately runs for her life.

Fans were already hyped just from the terrifying two-minute trailer, flocking to Twitter to discuss the scenes.

‘INDEED A BONE-CHILLING TRAILER,’ one screamed.

‘OMG! This looks lit! Can’t wait to see this movie,’ another cheered.

A follower commented: ‘I’ve been waiting for dis I can’t waiiitt and Cillian Murphy [sic].’

‘One of the last films I saw before lockdown,’ a Twitter user replied. ‘My heart is racing just watching this trailer. Sooooooo goood. #AQuietPlacePartII.’

As a fan added: ‘Did I p**s myself from fear or excitement who knows not me.’

Hopefully neither, hun…

A Quiet Place 2 will be released on May 28 in the US, and June 3 in the UK.
