Sir Paul McCartney Royal Mail stamps: How to buy them
Sir Paul McCartney and Royal Mail’s collection of special stamps celebrating the music icon will give you hope of deliverance of your post.
The main selection of stamps feature eight LPs which have define the rocker’s career, starting with his debut solo album McCartney, released in 1970.
It goes right through to Sir Paul’s chart-topping recent release McCartney III – recorded in lockdown – which came out in 2020.
The Beatles’ star worked closely with Royal Mail to create the stamps and had a say over the images that have been used, as well as personal involvement in the wider product range created for the issue, which includes a miniature range of four stamps featuring the star in the recording studio.
Sir Paul is one of three individual music artists to be featured in the dedicated stamp issue after the late David Bowie in 2017 and Sir Elton John in 2019.
Previous special stamp issues from the Royal Mail have included Star Wars, Queen and Only Fools and Horses.

David Gold of Royal Mail said: ‘Paul McCartney remains a vital figure at the centre of rock and pop, an artist whose legacy is immense, but whose work continues to generate popular attention and critical acclaim.
‘This dedicated stamp issue is a fitting tribute to one of the UK’s much loved and revered musical icons.’
