SM Entertainment is set to launch a talent show to find the members of a new US based K-pop boy group.

The leading K-pop company, based in South Korea, will form NCT-Hollywood, a brand new unit of the 23-member boy group NCT.

SM Entertainment has teamed up with MGM Television for the project that will scout for young American men aged 13-25, who will be flown out to Seoul for bootcamp training at SM HQ, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Once there they will given dance, vocal and style tests and will be judged by head honcho and SM founder Lee Soo-Man, as well as current NCT members – so keep an eye out to see if your bias pops up.

In a statement, Lee said: ‘I look forward to making an unconventional audition show that all music fans around the world can enjoy.

‘I hope the audience enjoys watching the journey of new stars being born in Hollywood, that will be promoted as NCT-Hollywood in the global market in the future.’

NCT-Hollywood will be the fifth NCT unit after NCT U (made up of various combinations of members), NCT 127, NCT Dream and WayV.

NCT 127 have promoted in the US in the past with the singles Superhuman and Highway To Heaven, and member Johnny hails from Chicago.

NCT Dream, geared towards a younger audience, is the next unit to make a comeback, dropping full length album Hot Sauce on May 10.

SM Entertainment is home to some of the biggest K-pop groups including SHINee, EXO and Red Velvet.
