Sylvester Stallone Coming to CoD Warzone as Operator John Rambo?

The Season 3 of Call of Duty Warzone has been out for a week now, and is receiving a mixed response from the community. While many have appreciated the newly introduced weapon tunings and POIs, others like Dr Disrespect are on the verge of quitting the game altogether.

With Season 3, Verdansk transformed into its 1984 version. Accordingly, many POIs from the 2020 version are still under construction, and the island has a lot fewer buildings.

Now that Warzone is set in the 1980s, the demands for some operators that best represent the time period are also rising. These include characters from other popular franchises like Rambo, Terminator, and Chuck Norris, among others.

Call of Duty Warzone teases the arrival of ‘Survivor John’

Call of Duty, on Twitter, often asks for the game tag of players and hands them their Warzone report. It includes several statistics like hours played, games played, kills, deaths, K/D ratio, and of course, wins. This is certainly an interesting communication strategy and motivates players to play better and claim their bragging rights.

Most recently, Call of Duty uplaoded the Warzone report of a player named Survivor John#1009062. Apparently, he has played for 7 hours, has 552 kills, 5 wins, 0 deaths, and an infinite K/D ratio.

The aforementioned hints were more than enough to excite the fans of John Rambo around the world. Popular American actor Sylvester Stallone played the character and even directed the 2008 Action/War movie. It is safe to assume that John Rambo will now appear in Activision’s Battle Royale title as an operator.

Activision might follow the footsteps of Epic Games’ Fortnite in Season 3

It won’t be an overstatement that Fortnite has revolutionized the Battle Royale genre of gaming. This is not only because of its unique meta, but the wide range of collaborations and live events it brings for the players.

Following a similar approach, Call of Duty Warzone had organized a nuke event to start things in Season 3. Furthermore, the arrival of John Ramb0 can start a trend of more characters from other franchises like GI Joe and Terminator coming to the game.

This is just the beginning of Season 3, and there are a lot of mysteries spread on Verdansk’ 84. The map has several blocked mines and bunkers, that can very well mean that a new subway system is in the works. As for now, the community can wait for John Rambo and expect more such classic operators with upcoming updates.
