Amanda Holden has revealed that she enjoyed a lunch date with Miley Cyrus – to discuss neck muscles, of all things.

As you do.

The Britain’s Got Talent star revealed the pair exchanged some neat neck knowledge, dropping the singer’s name on an upcoming episode of I Can See Your Voice.

‘Me and Miley Cyrus had lunch a couple of years ago,’ she said in a clip shared with MailOnline.

Discussing one of the singers on the show, she went on: ‘We talked about the importance of having relaxed sternocleidomastoid muscle. Your sternocleidomastoid is just here, and if you’ve got a tense sternocleidomastoid, which he looks like he has, that is really gonna affect your vocals.’

We had no idea Amanda had such a dedication to her neck muscles – but we can’t fault her for it.

She stars alongside Paddy McGuinness, Alison Hammond, and Jimmy Carr in the BBC show, which tasks contestants with rooting out bad singers from good – without actually hearing them sing.

The 50-year-old’s clearly not the only member of the panel with a real dedication to the cause as, while she’s been relying on her knowledge of neck anatomy, Alison, 46, has been showing off her skills from a ‘liar course’ she once took.

The This Morning presenter claimed to know the key tell-tale signs that someone’s lying – although almost immediately after she told everyone about that on episode one, she wrongly thought one guy was a fake singer because he ‘looked to the left’.

We love you Alison, but we’re going to take that ‘liar course’ with a pinch of salt.

The BBC game show sees players trying to weed out the bad singers from the good without ever hearing them sing live – and there’s £10,000 at stake.

While it definitely makes for some entertaining TV, viewers were left slightly baffled by the premise, with one describing it as ‘not even car-crash telly, it’s like a milk float crashing into a giraffe.’

What more could you want from your Saturday nights?
