Kourtney Kardashian has made it clear that she doesn’t appreciate allegations that she is solely to blame for the end of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The reality star and the rest of her family announced their decision to pull the plug on the iconic series last year, after a 20-season run.

Thursday’s episode saw the moment when the emotional stars revealed the news to their loyal production crew.

It also showcased the moment when the family sat down to discuss whether they should renew their contract for future seasons, with Kourtney piping up to say she wasn’t keen.

When questioned by Kris over whether it was time to end the saga, Kourtney said: ‘I definitely think it’s time.’

Her sister Khloe then quipped: ‘Kourtney thought it was time three years ago.’

Elsewhere in the KUWTK episode, Kourtney vented to Scott Disick: ‘It’s so funny, there’s all these memes online of like, “Kourtney Kardashian single-handedly ended KUWTK”‘.

‘Why? Because you’ve said before that you don’t, like, love filming and stuff like that so they assume you’re the one who made the decision?’ Scott said in her defence. ‘Does it bother you?’

Kourtney responded: ‘Yeah they’re saying it as a joke but I’m sure there’s people who really believe it.’

Scott insisted it’s ‘obviously not true’ as he revealed that wrapping up KUWTK was a family decision.

Kourtney agreed and claimed that this isn’t the first time the Kardashians had questioned whether to continue the series.

‘Every time our contract’s up we always have this conversation of like, “Do we want to keep doing this? What are we happy with? What do we want to do?”‘, the Poosh founder explained. ‘If everyone wanted to keep doing it I’m sure I would have kept doing it too. Unless I found my island to move to….’

Discussing her feelings about ending the show, Kourtney told E!: ‘We always said we would do it together as long as we all wanted to do it and felt happy and that it made sense.

‘I’ve definitely had my moments when I wasn’t fully comfortable with filming and then there’s so many exciting moments like where we’ve had the best times and great family trips and so many experiences that we wouldn’t have had if we weren’t filming. I think it’s been a love-hate relationship.’

Keeping Up With The Kardashians airs on E! in the US and is available to stream on hayu in the UK.
