A new tie-in to the Disney+ show Star Wars: The Bad Batch includes all five main characters and is up for pre-order now.

Like almost everything nowadays, Star Wars Day this year was more muted than usual, thanks to the pandemic, with not much in the way of major new announcements.

One of the few exceptions was the new Lego R2-D2 set and the Bad Batch cartoon show on Disney+, which now also has its own Lego tie-in.

The Bad Batch is a sequel to the long-running The Clone Wars series and features a team of imperfect clones that were introduced in its final season. They each have their unique abilities and a really cool spaceship, all of which is reflected in the Lego set.

Rather than have to get a bunch of different sets to collect them all, The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle includes all five main characters: Tech, Echo, Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair.

The shuttle itself has folding wings, an opening cockpit, and spring-loaded shooters but it also has two separate speeder bikes – with their own unique designs taken from the show.

The shuttle is over 25cm long and 20cm high, with the whole set made out of 969 separate pieces. Unlike some Lego Star Wars sets it’s not that expensive either, considering what you get, at £89.99.

The set is number 75314 and while it won’t be released until August 1 you can pre-order it now from the Lego website.

The first episodes of the show are currently available on Disney+, with a new one being added each week for a total of 16 in the first season.
