‘Unfairpay Fighting Clowns’-Jake Paul Continues His War of Words With UFC Fighters
YouTuber Logan Paul is taking on legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition fight next month. The two fighters faced off at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami where the fight will be held for a media day today. However, all the headlines were stolen by younger brother Jake Paul as he engaged in an all-out brawl with team Mayweather.
Paul and Mayweather were seen engaged in a face-to-face war of words. Shortly after, Paul grabbed Mayweather’s hat. His action results in a physical fight as Floyd Mayweather charged at him. Mayweather’s bodyguards separated the two men. Shortly after the incident Paul changed his Twitter handle to ‘GOTCHA HAT’ and even had the phrase tattooed on his leg.

Is Jake Paul rubbing too many people the wrong way?
Shortly before the event, Paul put out a tweet stating, “A month ago every MMA fighter was like I’ll box Jake Paul and beat the f**k out of him. Now everyone is like, I’ll fight him but it has to be MMA, it’s the only real fight!”
He followed that up with another tweet aimed at the UFC and the MMA community saying, “UFC UnfairPay Fighting Clowns”
Floyd Mayweather is the most recent name to a list of people who do not seem to like ‘The Problem Child’. Ever since his win against Askren, Paul has continuously fired shots at the MMA community and called out almost everyone in and around his weight class. At UFC 261, when he was in attendance, he almost got into an altercation with Daniel Cormier as well. And more recently got into a war of words with the welterweight champion Usman following his dominant title defense against Jorge Masvidal.
After the incident with Floyd Mayweather, the MMA community once again rallied in support of Mayweather. The likes of Tyron Woodley, Marlon Moraes, and others tweeted condemning Pauls’s disrespectful actions.
Paul is new to the sport and has quickly made a lot of enemies. His altercation with Floyd Mayweather will be one of many if he continues to blatantly disrespect fighters be it in the UFC or in the boxing community.
