‘What the F**k is Floyd At?’- Conor McGregor Says Floyd Mayweather Should Thank Jake Paul
Floyd Mayweather got into a confrontation with Jake Paul during a face-off with Logan Paul. ‘The Problem Child’ stole Mayweather’s hat, which infuriated ‘Money’.
He chased Paul, and chaos ensued. Mayweather’s former opponent, Conor McGregor, took notice of all that went down at the event and went on to take a shot at the undefeated boxer.
“Hey @leonardellerbe, what the fu*k is Floyd at? The kid curled up, didn’t fight back once, and Floyd is still running around acting the tough guy. The kid actually just pulled this shambles of a situation Floyd is in out of the drain for him. He should thank him.
It’s embarrassing!” wrote McGregor in a recent Instagram post.
“Pro to pro it’s embarrassing. He will not scratch 10m for this fight and he knows it. It was canceled once already. The world is watching this on Twitter. He’d fight a half decent pro and command 20m upwards, yet its this sh*t.
Whatever way you spin this, it’s sad.
Fight someone for real, on your record, or f*ck off mate.
Slap head!” he added.
McGregor fought Mayweather back in 2017 in what marked the Irishman’s boxing debut. Mayweather claimed a 10th round T/KO stoppage to earn his 50th win as a professional boxer. The event broke pay-per-view records of all sorts in combat sports history.
Mayweather fights Logan Paul on June 6th at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Logan is currently 0-1 as a professional boxer, having lost his debut fight against fellow YouTuber KSI in his debut as a boxer.
Now he is set to fight arguably the greatest boxer of all time in Mayweather. One can expect his brother, Jake, to cause some more chaos over the next few weeks.
Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather 2: Is that a possibility?
McGregor and Mayweather clashed back in 2017. One can argue that ‘The Notorious’ one is better suited in MMA than in boxing.
But the UFC’s biggest star knows the kind of potential revenue a boxing match against Mayweather can bring. Mayweather has forever been a huge pay-per-view generator. And McGregor is the UFC’s biggest cash cow. The two are meant to fight each other.
The former 2-division UFC Champion is currently pursuing the UFC gold. Therefore, a fight against Mayweather is not an immediate option one might suggest. However, given his reach as a superstar, nothing can be off the cards with ‘The Notorious’.
