Bethesda Job Listing Reveals the Development of an Unannounced Title

Bethesda is one of the most popular gaming studios in the world. They have created iconic franchises such as Doom, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, The Evil Within and many more. Following their acquisition by Microsoft, it looks they are moving towards bigger and better things.

A new job listing for the company reveals the plans of the studio to create a new title. Details about it are scarce, so the game could be a part of an existing franchise or an entirely new IP.

The intriguing Bethesda Job Listing

The new job listing is for the post of a Server Engineer in the company’s Texas branch. Along with the description of the job, there was also a slight mention that the employee will work on an unannounced title.

“Bethesda Game Studios is seeking a qualified Server Engineer to help create and improve systems for an unannounced title. Come join our experienced team of developers who have a legacy of creating AAA games. This is a terrific opportunity to work with some of the best people in the games industry.”

What the new game could be about?

As there are no details about the game so far, fans have no clue whether the title is a new IP or part of an existing franchise. So far, Bethesda has only revealed details about two games that will arrive soon. This includes the sixth installment of the popular RPG series, Elder Scrolls and another RPG set in space called Starfield. Both the games were announced in E3 2018 with teaser trailers sending fans into a tizzy.

As for the unannounced project, the possibilities seem endless. Some fans believe that Bethesda might be working on a new Fallout game following the disastrous launch of Fallout 76. Other than that, some players want the new title to be part of other popular franchises from the series such as Doom, Wolfenstein or even Dishonored. But there are also players that want an entirely new IP to go along with Starfield.

It will probably a long time before Bethesda eventually announce this unknown project. Other than the contents of the game, fans also have some questions about whether this title will be an Xbox exclusive following the $7.5 billion acquisition by Microsoft. But in the end, it seems like fans of the popular gaming studio have a lot to be excited about in the coming years.
