DJ Khaled is known for his love of jet skis but that’s not to say he hasn’t had a few run-ins while on the water.

The producer, 45, was spotted enjoying a day out on his multicoloured jet ski in Miami, where he was ripping his way through the water.

However, his fun was cut short when he appeared to be stopped by police on a Miami Beach Marine Patrol boat for speeding in the Collins Waterway, which is a no wake zone.

DJ Khaled and the policeman appeared to have a casual chat before the music star went on his way once more.

It’s not the first time Khaled’s jet ski adventures haven’t quite gone to plan as back in 2015 he revealed he got lost at sea.

He had been on his way home from Rick Ross’s house on Miami Bay when the sun went down and he lost his way.

Khaled, who documented the experience on social media, said at the time: ‘When I was on the jet ski, I documented it because I was scared s**tless.

‘I felt like if my battery gonna go down, somebody gonna call somebody.’

While he did manage to get home safely in the end, Khaled warned others against making the same mistake he did.

He added: ‘Basically what I’m trying to tell you is that it’s almost impossible to drive a jet ski at night time unless you’re in a city with lights lit up so you can navigate.

‘Besides being pitch black, that water turn black at night. Listen, I don’t recommend it.’

In 2017, he also got stuck in a blockage of trees and branches in the water while on the way to visit Diddy.
