Many WWE superstars are mothers and fathers. Balancing work-life and home life is strenuous, but today’s WWE superstars pull it off smoothly. However, behind every great father is a great mother, and Dwayne Johnson realised that on Mother’s Day.
Dwayne Johnson wishes his wife Happy Mother’s Day
Everyone knows the influence Ata Johnson had on The Rock’s WWE career. She came from a line of legendary pro wrestlers, and the Anoa’i clan was a legendary force in the business. However, the Mother’s Day wishes went out to his wife, Lauren Hashian.
In a touching Instagram post, Dwayne Johnson wrote, “You are the shining example to our daughters who’s love and adoration for you is boundless- that it’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.”
Johnson described his wife as the kindest, warmest, happiest and toughest soul in the world. He posted three pictures, one of him and Lauren together, one of Lauren posing in The Rock‘s ‘Just Bring It’ merchandise and a third one with him and their youngest daughter Tiana.
The couple got married in 2019, in a quaint ceremony in Hawaii. They have two kids, Jasmine and Tiana, but Johnson’s eldest daughter Simone is from his marriage with Dany Garcia. Garcia and Johnson split in 2007, and twelve years later he married Lauren, who is a singer.
WWE superstars who are also mothers
When we think of WWE superstars, who are also mothers, the first name that comes to your mind is Becky Lynch. The former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion vacated her title after announcing her pregnancy, and gave birth to her daughter Roux in December.
Lacey Evans is expecting her second child right now, but she’s proud as punch of her daughter Summer. She strives to be a role model for her daughter, as does current SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Belair is a mother to Montez Ford’s children from his previous marriage.
Two trailblazers of the industry who also expected their children at the same, the Bella Twins look to make their return soon. Brie and Daniel Bryan have two children, and she even returned to the ring after giving birth the first time. As for Nikki, she gave birth to her son with Artem Chigvintsev in 2020.
