Jack Whitehall has returned to host the Brit Awards and, while the ceremony looks very different this year, his jibes and awkward moments were still out in force.

Some things never change!

Previous years have seen the comic leaving Little Mix red-faced after he took aim at Piers Morgan, referencing their famous nude photoshoot.

‘What would you say to that dutty wasteman?’ he questioned, leaving the girls cracking up.

Elsewhere, he’s downed tequila with Lizzo, mistaken Harry Styles’ sister for his date, and even roasted the Brits themselves.

Safe to say, he didn’t disappoint this year either

Piers Morgan shade

Staying true to form, he kicked things off by throwing some shade at Piers Morgan.

Referencing the presenter’s exit from Good Morning Britain this year and the social distancing measures in place at the ceremony, he quipped: ‘This arena has been emptier than Piers Morgan’s diary and had more comebacks than Craig David.’

Oh Jack.

Little Mix

Of course, Jack couldn’t let one of the biggest trends of the year pass him by, as he teamed up with Nathan Evans for a sea shanty.

Marching his way through the O2, he joked about Little Mix ‘popping out babies’ after Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards’ announcements, and didn’t let Jade Thirlwall off the hook as he joked that she’s ‘drinking for three’.

Olly Murs

Finishing his sea shanty next to Olly Murs, Jack was clearly in trouble with The Voice star when he took aim at him.

‘Don’t worry, Mursy’s only here for fun, we will not let him sing,’ he declared, dodging a swift kick to the knees from the Troublemaker singer.

Spotify

After Elton John and Olly Alexander stole the show with their rendition of It’s A Sin, Jack explained that any proceeds from the song would be going to support HIV charities.

However, moving on from the performance to introduce The Weeknd’s incredible set, he joked: ‘The proceeds from that one will mainly go to the make Spotify Even Richer foundation’

Haim

Of course, Jack couldn’t resist making reference to Este Haim hijacking Liam Payne and Cheryl’s interview at the 2018 Brits.

While she insisted she wasn’t drunk, as many assumed, she was seen telling people to call her and winking at the camera.

She clarified this year, that she was aiming the ‘call me’ at Jack, with the comic declaring that the band are ‘back on the razz’

We wouldn’t have it any other way.
