Jackie Weaver stole the show at the Brit Awards last night after appearing in a hilarious skit, and she’s been celebrating her appearance with her husband as they mark a special anniversary.

The viral star, who found fame for kicking off an argumentative male councillor from a Parish Council meeting Zoom call, made a brilliant cameo appearance as part of the ceremony.

Jackie took part in a sketch with the stars of Line of Duty and presenter Jack Whitehall to kick off last night’s show.

Martin told Jack in the clip: ‘It’s time to roll out the big guns,’ to which Jack replied: ‘Mother of God they’re bringing out the gaffer.’

As she appeared on screen, she told Jack: ‘Right, shall we bring this Brit Awards to order?’, only for Jack to ask: ‘Who the hell are you?’

Jackie clarified: ‘I’m your worst nightmare,’ before adding: ‘Now listen up you little twerp, if you don’t get on with it then I’ll kick you off.’

Jackie was in fine spirits after the awards ceremony too, sharing a picture of her home studio set up and writing: ‘Amazing set up in my office for the Brit Awards sketch. I am still amazed by how much work goes in behind the scenes. I’m really grateful for the support.’

She also had a touching message for her husband, who she is celebrating 37 years of marriage with today.

‘Last night with the Brits was amazing BUT 37 years with this lovely man has been the real prize in my life,’ she wrote alongside a picture of herself with her husband.

‘Wedding Anniversary today,’ Jackie added, sharing the heartwarming post with her followers.

Congrats Jackie!

Harry Styles also made a surprise appearance to accept an award, but left fans shocked with his ‘weird’ American accent.

Comedian Jack hosted the socially-distanced awards ceremony tonight with 4,000 fans made up mostly of key workers in attendance.
