“I Could Make Him the Face of My Company” – ECW Legend Says Cesaro Can Recreate Daniel Bryan’s Yes Movement

Cesaro has kicked off his 2021 with great momentum behind him. The ‘Swiss Cyborg’ looks unstoppable as he heads into the Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash. However, this is Cesaro’s first chance at the World title, and many feel it should’ve come a long time ago!

Tommy Dreamer says Cesaro would be the face of his company

On the post-SmackDown review edition of Busted Open Radio, ECW Original Tommy Dreamer shared his thoughts on Cesaro. Dreamer revealed that if was the booker of the show, he’d have Cesaro as his top guy. He said, “If I’m running the WWE, because of all the languages he speaks, I could make him the face of my company.”

For those unaware, Cesaro can speak seven languages! Either way, Dreamer couldn’t stop praising the ‘Swiss Superman.’ He added that no matter where Cesaro is on the card, one can be rest assured to get a top-rated, top-notch wrestling match. Tommy Dreamer also revealed why he thinks Cesaro will be ‘the guy’ in WWE.

He said, “I feel he will get that Daniel Bryan reaction if they ever decide to fully pull the trigger with him, just because fans love him. You think about why they love him, it’s because of his in ring work. He’s the quarterback that always delivers, he’s the baseball player that always delivers for when you need him in the clutch.” H/t WrestlingInc

The year has been terrific for Cesaro so far. He not only got his first one-on-one match at WrestleMania, but also picked up a win! That too, against a former World Champion in Seth Rollins. The ‘King of Swing’ proved week-in, and week-out for 10 years straight why he deserves to be in the main event.

On May 17, 2021, at WrestleMania Backlash, he will have the opportunity. Although it’s highly unlikely that he walks out with the win, but we’re pretty sure he will put on a stellar performance against Roman Reigns. And what Tommy Dreamer said is completely true. If WWE have faith in Cesaro, he too, will get a Daniel Bryan-like reaction.
