Holly Willoughby furious as she’s exposed for plotting to fake moment she tastes This Morning chef’s mussels
FURIOUS Holly Willoughby was exposed for plotting to fake the moment she tasted mussels live on This Morning.
She was supposed to be enjoying a dish inspired by chef Phil Vickery ‘s trip to the Shetland Islands in Scotland.
But after teasing her co-host Phillip Schofield about an earlier gaffe when he thought his pulled pork dish was vegan, Holly got a taste of her own medicine.
Joking about his own mistake as he tucked into the mussels, Phil said: “I’ve got the vegan ones here. these are absolutely stunning.”
Holly pushed, saying: “As far as you’re concerned… are those muscles?”
Annoyed Phil lashed out at Holly by giving away her secret to viewers.
He said: “Well alright then. I was going to let this go, but you have just said ‘I can’t eat them, I don’t like muscles, I’m going to break a bit of bread off and put it inside this shell’.
“There you go, I just flexxed my muscles.”
Horrified Holly covered her face as she screamed in embarassment.
She explained: “You know my thing about muscles. I have to eat them in the dark.”
Holly added: “Now you have just outed me…”, as she picked up a mussel to try.
“I’m not going to look at it, but look muscle…”
Chomping on the fish dish, Holly said through gritted teeth: “It’s very nice.”

She then laughed and added: “It is actually very nice.”
Unable to let the tiff go, Holly told Phil: “Oh I so want to chuck something at you, but I can’t because of Covid.”
Smug Phil laughed as he continued to tuck into his tasty mussels.
