Kenny Omega, Christian Cage, Cody Rhodes, and More: Matches Announced for AEW Double or Nothing 2021
AEW’s flagship PPV Double or Nothing is returning to Daily’s Place again this year! As always the show promises to be an exciting affair from top to bottom. Although we are two weeks away from the PPV, the card has already started shaping up nicely. So, let’s check out the matches announced for AEW Double or Nothing 2021.
Kenny Omega vs PAC vs Orange Cassidy – Three-Way Match (AEW World Championship)
JUST ANNOUNCED on #AEWDynamite! The #AEW World Championship will be on the line May 30 at #AEWDoN, as Champion @KennyOmegamanX faces both @orangecassidy and @BASTARDPAC in a 3-way match! pic.twitter.com/dGuRQPNw0N

The ‘Belt Collector‘ will put on his AEW World Championship on the line against both PAC and Orange Cassidy in a three-way at Double or Nothing. But why a three-way? Well, Orange Cassidy and PAC were supposed to have a one on one match this week with the winner challenging Omega.
However, referee Aubrey Edwards saw Omega sneak attack PAC, and ruled the match a no-contest. Don Callis and Omega tried to weasle their way out of the match, but AEW President Tony Khan made it a three-way match between Omega, Cassidy and PAC!
The Inner Circle vs The Pinnacle – Stadium Stampede II
.@The_MJF challenges #InnerCircle to Stadium Stampede at #DoubleOrNothing on May 30…with a catch. Inner Circle loses? They break up forever.

Staidum Stampede returns to the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars as The Inner Circle take on The Pinnacle. Following their loss at AEW Blood and Guts last week, the Inner Circle were hell bent on getting retribution on The Pinnacle as they believe they had them beat the previous week.
On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Pinnacle’s leader MJF laid down a challenge to Jericho. MJF challenged Jericho to a Stadium Stampede match between the two factions with an interesting stipulation. If the Inner Circle lose, they must disband!
Cody Rhodes vs Anthony Ogogo
IMO Cody is the best wrestler in the world, on the stick, bell to bell, nobody can touch him.
It will be an honour to stove his head in at #DoubleOrNothing.

Cody Rhodes will take on a new talent, Anthony Ogogo, at AEW Double or Nothing this year. But why? Well, last week, Ogogo laid out Cody in the middle of the ring after his match with QT Marshall. Ogogo didn’t just lay out Cody. He added salt to the wound by covering his body with a Union Jack!
This week, the ‘American Nightmare‘ cut a promo where he talked challenged Ogogo to the match. Rhodes said he won’t be the ‘American Nightmare’ at Double or Nothing. He will be the ‘American Dream’ Cody Rhodes.
Other matches announced for AEW Double or Nothing
Dr. Britt Baker has climbed up the AEW rankings, and reached the #1 spot to earn this title match against the champion, Hikaru Shida. Baker has been on a roll in the past few months. But her confidence in the ring, especially heading into this match make us believe we might see a new AEW Women’s World Champion at Double or Nothing.
Just like the Stadium Stampede match, the Casino Battle Royal also makes its return to AEW Double or Nothing. Being a staple match of the PPV, so far, only two men have announced their entry into the match – Christian Cage and Matt Sydal. There are still 19 open spots, but they’ll surely fill out in the weeks to come.
‘The Machine’ Brian Cage got a dominant victory against Hangman Page a few weeks ago on AEW Dynamite. This loss did not sit well with Hangman, and he issued a challenge to Brian Cage at AEW Double or Nothing. Although Cage did not answer, the match was official later in the show.
This is the stacked card of AEW Double or Nothing right now. A few more matches may getting added to the card. We will keep you updated as the card shapes up.
