Stacey Solomon has revealed that she bursts into tears when she looks at drawings of her dream wedding dress after the delay of planning her big day with Joe Swash.

The Loose Women star, 31, shared a sketch of her perfect frock on Instagram on Friday during a question and answer session with fans.

The design shows an elegant dress with a plunging neckline, with a slit that leaves her leg on show.

There appears to be floral embroidery to complete the delicate design, while it has a long train to the back.

The singer wrote online: ‘I am so behind with our wedding. I haven’t been able to go in and try anything on… But here are some drawing ideas of how I imagine my dream dress…

‘I honestly cry looking at these.’

Stacey has been held up with the organisation of her wedding to her actor fiancé Joe, 39, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Former EastEnders star Joe recently spoke about the slightly ‘awkward’ moment he proposed to one-time X Factor contestant Stacey, saying she ‘thought someone had died’.

Stacey confirmed her engagement to Joe in December last year after he popped the question on Christmas Eve but things didn’t get off to the best of starts.

Speaking on Thursday night’s Celebrity Juice about the moment he got down on one knee, Joe said: ‘To be fair the proposal was a bit awkward as well.

‘I thought it would be really nice [to] do it on Christmas Eve and I took her in to the forest. And I got a lady to put a load of flowers out.’

Stacey, though, didn’t quite realise what was happening.

‘When I took her through the forest, she saw the flowers and she went “aww I think someone’s died over there.” Because it was all white flowers,’ he said.

‘I went to her: “Oh come let’s have a look, pay some respects.”’

The couple are planning to marry in July this year after they first started dating in 2015.
