The new schedule for the upcoming NFL season is out now, and fans can look forward to some tantalizing fixtures next season. None more exciting than Tom Brady returning to Foxborough as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the New England Patriots.

Brady will return to the team that he helped put on the map. And his father is looking forward to the clash. Tom Brady Sr. spoke to Zo and Bertrand recently on their show.

The hosts asked Brady Sr. about the fixture between the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was thrilled about the new fixture list, and couldn’t contain his excitement about it.

He was confident about the Buccaneers extending their run of victories. But Brady Sr. also shared his excitement over having two teams, one in the NFC and the AFC.

“I started salivating when I saw that we’re playing the Patriots in the fourth game of the season, and we’re coming up here to make our record 4-0.

“I get to have a favorite team in the AFC and I got a favorite team in the NFC, and then they play in the fourth game of the year. I’m thrilled for this.”

Tom Brady makes his return to New England

The Buccaneers-Patriots fixture is one that fans are all thrilled for. For the first time since he departed, Tom Brady will return to Foxborough. Brady is the greatest player to play for the New England Patriots.

During his long stint with the Patriots, he won all 6 of the Super Bowls in franchise history. And the fact that he did it consistently for such a long time makes his stint with the Patriots that much more impressive.

However, their relationship didn’t end on a positive note. Brady wanted to be compensated better and thought he wasn’t being paid his true value.

However, his age made the Patriots hesitant to commit to him. Therefore, Brady walked away from the Patriots at age 43 and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
