“We’ve Never Seen Her Do Anything” – WWE Hall of Famer is Skeptical About The Return of Eva Marie

Eva Marie is all set to return to the main roster with some very interesting vignettes calling for an “Eva-lution.” However, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has an interesting take on the situation.

Marie last wrestled in 2017, before she and WWE parted ways. However, earlier this year she was seen training with WWE Performance Center’s newest recruit, Parker Boudreaux. Multiple reports later confirmed she was under a new WWE contract.

In his latest episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T and Brad Gilmour discussed the former Diva’s impending return. While Gilmour seemed to be content with her return, Booker did not know how to react.

“I don’t know if I should be excited, I don’t know if I should be… is this one of those highly anticipated debuts in-ring debuts, re-debuts, let’s say that,” Booker said. ” I don’t call recall ever seeing an Eva Marie match.”

Then both the hosts talked about Eva Marie’s previous gimmick ‘of not wrestling.’ While Gilmour claimed Eva was “athletic,” Booker had expressed a different opinion, “I don’t know. We’ve never seen her do anything. To have a nice body doesn’t mean you are athletic. A lot of people work out.”

After the initial banter, Gilmour and Booker settled down and discussed Eva’s new role in WWE. While Gilmour is hopeful of Eva’s in-ring progress, Booker looked at it from a “wrestling perspective.”

“I like seeing Eva Marie back. She still looks great. She’s definitely ‘easy’ on the eyes,” the Hall of Famer started the discourse. “I’m just curious as far as what is she going to do in the women’s division, when we got such a strong presence in women’s division, representing the women from a wrestling perspective.”

While he’s sure Eva would bring audiences from the “Total Divas and Diva Era,” but he’s still skeptical. “It just makes me wonder, what does she gonna look like in the ring with Bianca Belair? What does she gonna look like in the ring with Charlotte Flair? Asuka?”

But at the same time, Booker also asked “What are we bringing Eva Marie back for? I think that’s the question.” He is probably insinuating that Eva might not come back as an in-ring performer, but as a valet or a manager to someone.

To conclude, we would have to see how things turn out for Eva in the upcoming weeks. As Booker precisely puts it, “It’s a lot of eyes on Eva.” You can watch the brief discussion on Eva below –
