Holly Willoughby ‘having crisis talks with ITV’ over future at This Morning
Holly Willoughby is reportedly ‘having crisis talks’ with ITV over her future at This Morning due to a dispute with her old management company.
Last August, it was announced that Holly, 40, had set up her own company, Roxy Management, after parting ways with YMU Entertainment, the showbiz agency that represents her This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield.
Almost a year later, the TV presenter is said to have clashed with her old agency as the firm are said to be demanding approximately £200,000 a year from her daytime deal with ITV.
It’s been reported that Holly is prepared to face the company in court over the demands.
According to a source, this supposed course of action is ‘not about the money, it’s the principle of the thing’.
Speaking to The Sun, they said: ‘There has never been any question over commission on contracts that they concluded – this is about what happens moving forwards now that they aren’t involved, and them trying to handcuff her for years to come. It’s just not right.’
The source stated that Holly ‘loves This Morning, and really doesn’t want to leave’.
However, they added that the TV personality ‘has been given no choice but to discuss her options moving forwards’.
The source said that Holly has spoken to executives at ITV and explained that she would ‘rather leave the show than let YMU take such a high percentage of her earnings, when they aren’t entitled to it’.
They said that Holly evidently ‘adores’ Phillip and ITV are doing everything in their power to ensure ‘this gets resolved as amicably as possible’.
According to the publication, non-disclosure agreements have been signed regarding the situation.
When Holly’s company, Roxy Management, was announced last year, it was said that she would manage herself surrounded by an all-female team.
A source said at the time: ‘Her taking control back does not surprise me — it feels very natural and like the logical next step.
‘She has been after a better work-life balance for a while and thinks this is the ideal next step.’

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
