Kim Basinger comments on ‘cute’ pic of ex-husband Alec Baldwin chilling with his kids
Kim Basinger has shared a sweet comment on a photo of her ex-husband Alec Baldwin with three of his children.
Alec, 63, had shared a photo of him looking pretty tuckered out from looking after three of his sons – Romeo, two, Leonardo, four and five-year-old Rafael who he shares with wife Hilaria Baldwin – as he was snoozing on the sofa while the boys watched TV.
He captioned the snap: ‘I can’t wait to get back to this couch with that old gang of mine.’
Kim, 67, who split from Alec in 2002 after almost nine years of marriage, commented: ‘So cute…… them I mean ….’ along with a series of emojis, including six laughing faces.
Alec and Kim share 25-year-old daughter Ireland Baldwin, and Alec also has six children with Hilaria, 37.
As well as the three boys in his picture, the couple share seven-year-old daughter Carmen and baby Eduardo who was born in September, as well as Maria who they announced was born in March via surrogate.
While Alec and Kim had a very public divorce and custody battle over their daughter Ireland, the pair seem to be good friends now that many years have passed.
Kim told Net-A-Porter’s The Edit in 2016: ‘Divorce is hard on a kid, no matter how you cut it. And ours was very public and nasty, so I brought up Ireland in a very unconventional way.
‘I just wanted her to be free. If she wanted to have her friends over and write over the walls with pen, that was fine. I wanted her childhood to be full of love and light and animals and friends.’
She added: ‘Alec and I are] cool now, though. Life goes on.’
