Vernon Kay horrified as he encounters giant snake on Game of Talents
Vernon Kay was left slightly terrified on Game of Talents when he was suddenly tasked with encountering a massive snake on show.
Oh Vernon.
The I’m A Celebrity star looked a little out of his depth when he was called on by snake charmer Daniella to assist with her talent.
After she performed, dancing around the stage and jumping into the splits with the snake on her shoulders, she beckoned him on stage.
The 47-year-old looked unnerved, but faced his fear and let the snake slither around his face.
Visibly relieved to leave the reptile with Daniella, he admitted: ‘I thought I’m A Celebrity had taught me a few things about creatures, but…’
Contestants Sue and Matt competed on the game show to win a massive cash prize, aided by stars Nick Grimshaw and Clara Amfo.
They were tasked with guessing each guest’s special talent, from magician and martial artist to violinist and even an animal puppeteer which was as bizarre as it sounds.
When Daniella took to the stage, it was revealed she was a snake charmer, however fans were slightly confused to see that, instead of bringing out a wind instrument and charming a snake, she danced with it on her shoulders, ending the show in the splits.
Hey, whatever she did, she did it in style.
The show saw Matt and Clara get all their questions right, as they went on to play for a prize pot of a whopping £72,000.
However, Matt ended up halving the pot after being unsure in the last round, which asked him to pick out the animal puppeteer.
He still went home with a pretty impressive £36,000 though, so we don’t think he’ll be complaining.
Vernon returned to screens in April with his game show, which pairs contestants with celebs to guess what talent each guest had just by looking at them.
The contestants were able to pick a money ball after making their guess, and were able to see the amount they won if they guessed right, otherwise the prize inside the ball would go to their opposing team if they got it wrong.
After a tie-break, the winning contestant gets the chance to play for the money they have accrued, by guessing which of a line-up of guests had the final talent from the board.
The series took over Saturday nights on ITV, after Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Game of Talents returns Saturday at 8:30pm on ITV.
