“We Were Robbed!” – Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler React to Their Title Loss on WWE SmackDown

WWE Universe is celebrating the iconic victory of Natalya and Tamina. The duo defeated Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler to capture the Women’s Tag Team titles.

In the match, Jax delivered a Samoan Drop to Natalya before getting pinned through the Superfly Splash from Tamina. Ahead of their loss, their new associate Reginald was also ejected from the ringside for distracting the referee.

After a long silence, Nia finally spoke out on her and Baszler’s loss on SmackDown. She accused WWE of framing and robbing them off of their titles. However, she promised she would be back to seek revenge.

“We were ROBBED!!!!! I don’t care what anyone says, that ref was on the take! Kicking out @ReginaldWWE!” Nia fumed. “Everyone needs to leave @QoSBaszler & me alone! We need time to process and plot our revenge.”

Reginald also agreed with Nia, while Shayna simply refused to comment. Check out their tweets below –

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax accuse WWE of favoritism

Apart from the referee, the former Tag Team champions also accused backstage interviewer Kayla Braxton of favoritism. Following the victory of Natalya and Tamina, Braxton promptly went inside the ring to interview them.

This obviously did not sit right with Shayna as she attacked Braxton. She accused how the WWE personnel never interviewed Jax and her. Shayna sarcastically wrote to Nia, “Remember when Kayla Braxton interviewed US after winning these titles (TWICE)?!? Oh wait……#favoritism.”

The fans are now wondering what is next in store for the tag team of Baszler and Nia. The former champions are not letting Natalya and Tamina go so easily.

With their “revenge plot,” the former champions will be back soon. But now they have joined a list of tag teams who want their hands on the Tag Team titles.

Hence, it is highly likely that the team would be broken up so soon. Unlike before, Nia and Shayna would have to limit themselves to Monday Night RAW.

However, it can not be denied that the heel tag team added a lot of importance to the titles. After 216 combined days as champions, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler have lifted the tag team division to a force to be reckoned with.
