Ant Middleton has spoken out in support of Piers Morgan, insisting the majority of people agree with the controversial broadcaster’s views.

The SAS: Who Dares Wins star, 40, took a stand against the ‘woke brigade’ after a kissing scene in the fairy tale Snow White ride at Disneyland in California was described as ‘sexual assault’.

Earlier this month, Piers slammed a ‘sickening woke brigade’ campaign that turned Snow White’s Prince Charming into a ‘predator’ in a row over the iconic kiss in the Disney movie, which campaigners claimed happened ‘without consent’.

The Anaheim Disney theme park came under fire when it reopened after the local coronavirus lockdown with a revamped Snow White ride, called Enchanted Wish, which features the kiss dubbed ‘true love’s kiss’.

However, SFGate reviewers called for the kiss to be removed, saying: ‘Haven’t we already agreed that consent in early Disney movies is a major issue?’

Piers tweeted in response: ‘For the love of God… Can the woke brigade please just shut the f**k up? You’re pathetic & exhausting, and nobody in the real world agrees with you. Thanks.’

And Ant has voiced his support for Piers, which he has continued to do so since he left Good Morning Britain in March.

During an interview with James Smith on his YouTube podcast, Ant said of the Disneyland situation: ‘Don’t start me off! I can’t f**king believe it mate.’

He continued: ‘Piers is a great friend of mine and I look at things like that and I think to myself, “Wow.”

‘Piers is someone who leads. I sort of see myself as a predecessor; I must keep the word true and keep the word honest because people like Piers, he gets some head shots.’

Claiming that Piers is frequently ‘baited’ and ‘gets s**t’ for what he says, Ant added: ‘But ultimately the majority agree with him.’

Ant previously claimed he’s similar to Piers Morgan and Jeremy Clarkson after he was axed from SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The ex-Special Forces soldier was removed from the endurance training show earlier this year due to ‘personal conduct’ on set.

He has since denied that this was due to ‘inappropriate comments’ about female crew members, but has brushed off anything he may have said as ‘banter’.

Now, as Ant spends time in Australia to film SAS over there, he has claimed that his exit has seen numerous job offers in his favour – just like Piers after he quit GMB this month, and Jeremy’s 2015 exit from Top Gear for ‘punching a producer’.

Speaking on The Diary Of A CEO podcast, he said: ‘This last week so many doors have opened, production companies and channels calling me.

‘You get cancelled then that’s your career done but you’ve got Piers Morgans, Jeremy Clarksons and now you’ve got your Ant Middletons.’
