Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel warns his stars he’s not afraid to swing axe amid Tammy Abraham snub in FA Cup defeat

THOMAS TUCHEL vowed to carry on axing big names and warned his Chelsea stars: You ain’t seen nothing yet.

The Blues boss has rung the changes since taking over in January — including ten in his last two line-ups.

Tammy Abraham has been left out of the last two squads[/caption]

Striker Tammy Abraham is the latest to feel the wrath of Tuchel after being left out of the last two squads — including the 1-0 FA Cup final defeat to Leicester at Wembley.

Abraham’s girlfriend, Leah Monroe, was so annoyed she even blasted Tuchel on social media.

Monroe posted: “How on earth do you make the decision to leave your top goal scorer out of the squad for a final?

“The same person who even scored the goals to actually qualify for this competition? It’s not making any sense whatsoever.”

But ahead of their top-four crunch clash with the Foxes tonight and the Champions League final on May 29, Tuchel said: “It is never personal.

“I have to select 18 players for a squad. We have Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud who can all play as No 9, so I decided not to add another.

“And when Mateo Kovacic and Andreas Christensen come back I need to figure out the squad and even eliminate two more players.

“This is the worst thing for me. I understand this frustration. But this is not the moment to complain and for me to explain.

“We have to live in the moment. We have a massive two weeks.”

The German is hoping the return of fans to Stamford Bridge will help his side avenge Saturday’s Cup final defeat.

Tuchel added: “To have fans back will feel amazing. We hope it will add that extra per cent.”
