The 17-0 boxer spoke to Bonus Code Bets UK and revealed his ideal venue. He said, “I’d love to have a fight at either Easter Road or Edinburgh Castle, that would be the whole bucket list ticked off. I’d have achieved everything I set out to achieve in the sport. That would be all my wishlist ticked off.”

Taylor‘s choice of location is no surprise as he is a passionate Hibernian FC fan, and they play at the Easter Road stadium. Also, as Edinburgh Castle is one of the most iconic locations in Scotland, it would be a fitting venue for his first title defense as an undisputed champion.

Though Taylor’s comments suggested it would be a tremendous event, ‘The Tartan Tornado’ did not leave it at that. He even suggested who his ideal opponent would be for the potential blockbuster fight.

Taylor said, “A fight at Edinburgh Castle in the middle of the summer with the castle lit up in the background at night would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. It would be great to get Terence Crawford over or a massive title defence. It would be awesome – any fight at that venue would be amazing.”

Thus, this comment from Taylor showed he is considering a move up to welterweight if he becomes undisputed. This would be a sensible decision given that ‘The Tartan Tornado’ would have achieved everything possible in the super-lightweight division.
