Katie Price and Carl Woods waste no time as they jet off to Portugal for idyllic holiday as restrictions lift
Katie Price and her fiancé Carl Woods were seen arriving in Portugal this morning, as the green-listed tourist destination opens up to UK travellers.
Travelling from Stanstead Airport to Faro, the couple, dressed in matching black face masks, were wasting no time in taking a trip abroad now the UK government has allowed travel to a select list of international destinations.
Portugal is one of 12 countries on the government’s green list, as of 4am this morning.
This means Katie and Carl will avoid the need to quarantine, as long as they test negative for Covid-19 on or before day two after they arrive back in England.
Both Katie and Carl were active on Instagram Stories, sharing updates on their progress to Portugal.
Travelling with friends, Carl posted a Story from Faro Airport, with Katie walking next to him, where he said: ‘We made it – sunshine!’.
He also shared a quick update from the baggage carousel – showing his personalised suitcase – before updating when he and Katie arrived where they were staying with a panning shot of the inviting poolside and birdsong in the background.
Don’t mind us lusting after the pool, wishing we’d been organised enough to book a holiday in Portugal mere hours after it was legal again.
Katie had earlier posted a quick selfie on the plane with Carl, captioned: ‘Yesss finally @carljwoods a gorgeous break’.
The loved-up couple recently shared their desire to have a baby together during an interview on Steph’s Packed Lunch, where they revealed they were undergoing IVF treatment.
Carl admitted his past steroid use could have affected his fertility, saying it was ‘worrying’ that it could affect his ‘chances of becoming a dad’.
While Carl is yet to have children of his own, Katie is mother to Harvey, 18, with footballer Dwight Yorke, Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, with ex-husband Peter Andre, and Jett, seven, and six-year-old Bunny with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
